Dear Finance director & registrar,
Being a student and a part of VU, I am going to make u aware about problems of most of students of VU. The new fee structure is quite unaffordable for almost 95% of the VU students.
As you know that the majority of the vu students belong to that community of students who can not continue there studies due to there family support matters. These students have to support there families financially and at the same time they are interested in continuing their studies. Most of the students including me belong to the same community of students that are arranging their current study expenses with much more efforts and decreasing their other expenses.
These are the students who work on their jobs for 8 to 10 hours daily and after that they could meet the expanses of their studies and could support their families. You are also aware of the inflation which is going on increase day by day and to manage financial balance at home and study has already become difficult.
At this critical point the university has also increasing its fee. Not only this, university has decided to totally change the fee structure. This new fee structure has once made me to weep at the spot. The previous structure facilitates the class of students I have mentioned but the new structure forces us to discontinue our studies.
You can imagine the situation of such kind of students who are managing their studies with their jobs. After a working of 8 to 10 hours a person would be completely mentally and physically tiered. With this situation he still continue his study and try to do as best as he can in his study.
Kindly take in your account all these facts and accept my and other student's humble request to review the decision regarding fee structure.
Suggestion:
I suggest in this regard not to change the monthly submission/installment of fee at any coast. This facility should be given to students at all.
