TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT

SR. NO. 90.      (CASE NO.10-RE/2011) RECRUITMENT TO (01) ONE POST OF DIRECTOR (PLANNING) (BS-18) ON FIVE YEARS CONTRACT BASIS  IN THE TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION:

i)          M.Sc Transport Planning or Transport Engineering (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University and three years experience in Public or Private Sector Transport Organization.                 OR

ii)          B.Sc Transport Planning or Transport Engineering (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University having 05 years experience in Public or Private Sector Transport Organization.

PAY:   BS-18

AGE:  27 to 35  + 05 years general age relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated  04-11-2006  = 40  years on 25-07-2011.

ELIGIBILITY:    Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of Province of the Punjab.

SR. NO. 91.      (CASE NO.11-RE/2011) RECRUITMENT TO (01) ONE POST OF TRANSPORT PLANNING OFFICER (BS-17) ON FIVE YEARS CONTRACT BASS IN THE TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION:

i)          B.Sc Transport Planning or Transport Engineering (second division) from a recognized University and two years experience in the relevant field.

PAY:     BS-17

AGE:    24 to 30  + 05 years general age relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006 = 35 years on 25-07-2011.

ELIGIBILITY:    Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of Province of the Punjab.

PLACE OF POSTING:  Punjab Transport Department, Lahore.

SR. NO. 92.      (CASE NO.12-RE/2011) RECRUITMENT TO (01) ONE POST OF CHIEF TRANSPORT PLANNER (BS-19) ON FIVE YEARS CONTRACT BASIS  IN THE TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION:

i)          M.Sc Transport Planning / Transport Engineering (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University having eight years experience in public or private sector transport organization.       OR

ii)          B.Sc Transport Planning / Transport Engineering (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University having ten years experience in public or private sector transport organization.

PAY:     BS-19

AGE:    32 to 40  + 05 years general age relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006  = 45  years on 25-07-2011.

ELIGIBILITY:    Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of Province of the Punjab.

i)          M.Com or MBA (Finance) (second division) from a recognized University having one year experience in line.

AGE:    24 to 30  + 05 years general age relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006 = 35 years on 25-07-2011.

i)          M.Sc Statistics (second division) from a recognized University having three years experience in line.

AGE:    24 to 30  + 05 years general age relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006  = 35  years on 25-07-2011.

ELIGIBILITY:    Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of Province of the Punjab.

PUNJAB POLICE DEPARTMENT

SR. NO. 95.      (CASE NO.13-RB/2011) RECRUITMENT TO 285 (INCLUDING 06-POSTS RESERVED FOR DISABLED QUOTA, 14-POSTS RESERVED FOR WOMEN QUOTA AND 14-POSTS RESERVED FOR MINORITIES QUOTA) TEMPORARY LIKELY TO BE MADE PERMANENT POSTS OF STENOGRAPHER (BS-12) IN THE PUNJAB POLICE DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION:

i)          Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board;

ii)          A speed of 70 words per minute in shorthand in English and 35 words per minute Typing speed on typewriter or on computer.

iii)         Computer literate in M.S. Office.

NOTE:  Preference shall be given to the candidates who know Urdu shorthand at a speed of 60 words per minute and Urdu typing at a speed of 25 words per minute.

SR. NO. 96.      (CASE NO.15-RE/2011) RECRUITMENT TO 313 PERMANENT POSTS (INCLUDING 06-POSTS RESERVED FOR DISABLED PERSONS, 16-POSTS RESERVED FOR MINORITIES AND 16-POSTS RESERVED FOR WOMEN) OF STENOGRAPHERS (BS-12) IN THE SERVICES & GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION:

i)          Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

            2.         In case large number of applications are received for post(s), short-listing of the eligible candidates will be done in accordance with the policy of PPSC.

3.         Fax applications from in-country candidates, will not be accepted.

4.         Down loaded application forms from our website will also be acceptable.

            5.         “N.I.C valid on the closing date for receipt of applications will be accepted. However in case of expiry of NIC depositing receipt of NADRA for new NIC will be accepted at the time of interview”.

            6.         Note:  In case of change/deletion/addition in any column of the prescribed application form, the candidate would be liable to the rejection of his candidature.

7.         The number of posts may be increased or decreased at any stage.

            8.         IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates will be admitted to the written examination / test provisionally at their own risk subject to their being found eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications of the candidates declared successful in the written examination / test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she has appeared in the written examination / test or qualified therein.
