My viva scheduled at 03:30 pm and I login to SKYPE at 0325 pm.

I sent the message to the user "projectsvu" and she said I must wait.

At 03:30 pm she asked me if I am ready then I should make a video call. I did. She said she is waiting for the panel to come. Around 3:35 pm one more female instructor came and asked me to start the presentation.

 1.      I introduced myself and when I was about to start  the introduction of company where I did my internship she told me to go on training program.

2.      I move to my training program and started telling my duties at procurement and logistics department I spoke around 2 to 3 minutes and then she told me to go to critical analysis.

3.      I explain them the critical analysis.

4.      Then go to SWOT analysis. I explain the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

5.    What is inventory management.

 

Suddenly she said Naveed we ar gonna ask you something course realted also since your specialization is in management. I said go ahead. She asked me the following questions and honestly my replies were very prompt and fast. This time she was talking in Urdu I was surprised.

 

1.      What is span of control.

2.      What is departmentalization.

3.      How many kinds of departmentalization. 5 kinds customer wise, product wise and so on.

4.      Explain any theory of motivation. I couldn't remember one and she helped me by giving me a cushion if I know the Maslow hierarchy of need. Then I remember

5.      What is physical need?

6.      What is need for safety?

7.      What is the need which comes at the last in Maslow's theory and I explain them "self actualization" which nobody had achieved.

8.      What is the difference between division of labor and work specialization. I told them there is no difference. Despite a complete task is done by one worker, the worker should be a part of the task.

9.    What is quality circle.

 

Then they said Mr. Naveed your presentation is over and wish you good luck.

 

Dear students it was a very nice and pleasant experience talking to these vu instructors well mannered and well behaved. And they have asked everything from the presentation nothing from the outside.

 

 Alhumdulillah be izne talla my MBA is over in 4 semesters.
