Dear P(x) will e given. you can see they are saying the probability distribution of the number x, of successful ventures out of 5. so the 5 are only numbers of ventures and below P(x) is the probability of x or you can say probability = p and X are number of ventures so p(x) = probability(number of ventures) = probability of number of ventures

in short p(x) is given in Question
