This is my assignment which got 16 marks...

Answer No.1:
Identification of the broad problem area:
The company was using two types of color schemes. Since the problem is
due to color schemes therefore Color scheme is identified as broad
problem area.

Answer No.2:
Identification of the problem:
The sales of the company are declining due to one color scheme
therefore the problem is identified as declining of sales due to dark
block colors.

Answer No.3:
Problem statement:
The sales of the company are decreased due to a color scheme. The
company wants all of its products to be sold smoothly, earn the profit
and to keep the good reputation in the market and to keep the
customers as well. Therefore vital steps should be taken to overcome
the problem.

Answer No.4:
Identification of the possible factors affecting the color choice:
1. Outdated color scheme
2. Weather impact on choosing colors schemes
3. Economy problem

Answer No.5:
Formulation of the hypothesis on the basis of identified factors:
There are four steps to formulate a hypothesis:
1. Define the problem statement
• Color scheme is the problem.
2. Determine the solution of the problem statement
• Change the color scheme
3. Write the proof
• Light colors contrasted with dark ones are in demand.
4. Methods for checking the proof
• Can be checked by face to face and telephonic conversation. etc
