Ans:

The income of the Apex consignment is 500,000. Apex consignment is a middle man who receives the commission from the seller by selling their items. In consignment, all expense born by the middle man is on behalf by the seller, which is why Apex consignment's income for the year 2011 is 500,000. Whereas the question of cost of goods sold, it's from the side of manufacturing concern and Apex consignment is not a manufacturing concern. So the report of income statement of the Apex consignment will be 500,000.

 

b.     Do you agree with the statement of Apex about net income? Justify your answer.

Ans:

            Yes, I agree about the Apex consignment's income statement because Apex consignment is playing his role as a mediatory but not all control on the goods. Apex consignment will only receive the commission on their sold items. Apex consignment has no any type of expenses because in the Scenario there is not mentioned that the Apex consignment pays the expenses. According to the consignment rule, all expenses pay the seller of the goods but not the consignee. So the provider of the goods will pay the expenses to the Apex consignment because Apex consignment has paid total expenses himself. There is also not mentioned that the expenses which pays the Apex consignment is included in the commission, that is why I am agree of the income statement of the Apex consignment.

Ans:

            I think internal borrowing is the best option. I am saying so because of the following reasons…

1. It will prove a best strategy to lessen the business pressures and there are minimized chances for interest giving back.
2. Internal Borrowing is fewer burdens to the business and internal resources know better about business than external resources.
3. Using internal borrowing there will a great impact on local currency and on the shares in the market?
4. Local funds will provide strength, confidence and keep free of tension to the organization.
5. Through borrowing local funds or internal borrowing, there is possible for the circulation of money in the market and in the country.
6. External resources will be a threat for the business and will remain a tension to pay back which will be become a cause to running smooth business activities so internal borrowing is the opposite of that.

The company also handles online orders alongside traditional manual business. In your opinion does it lie in E- business or traditional business or blend of both? Justify your answer with solid reasons.

ANSWER:

            E-Business (Electronic Business) is the conduct of the business not only buying and selling the product but also provide services on the internet. Parties interact electronically rather than physically contact in the e-commerce business. It uses the information technology like networking and internet.

The question about lenzan, which is a furniture company and it have different franchisees in different cities, and also provides facilities to its customers. As the Lenzan is taking online orders and providing online facilities to its customers. The Lenza is involved in both of the business i.e. online and also manually. There are the following reasons to say so…

1. Lenzan is a furniture company that can provide different facilities to its customers about product and its prices but cannot deliver them immediately the product.
2. Lenzan receiving online order but this type of business is not completely online due to the information and materials' poorness.
3. This is the good steps of Lenzan to flourish its business but they should keep it both online and manually because of durability and consistency of its business and customers.
4. The order which is receiving may be B2B or B2C which may involve retailers in them but this type of business cannot completely be online because of different choices and modern designs of the furniture. Customers may not believe on that because of its price and model.
5. So Lenzan is handling both online and manually to its business.
