NOTE: Selection against posts reserved for Minorities shall be made on the basis of combined merit amongst Male & Female Minorities candidates in each Region / District.

ELIGIBILITY Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in their respective Region / District in the Province of the
MINIMUM PHYSICAL STANDARD
The candidates with the following minimum physical measurements shall be eligible to apply.
a) Height (For male) 5 feet 7 inches
b) Height (For female) 5 feet 2 inches
c) Chest (For male candidates only) 33 inches X 34 1/2 inches.
d) Visual Standard Distant vision 6/9 in each eye with or without glasses.
For male and female candidates.
Near vision not less than J-I.
The medical certificates mentioned herein will be obtained only from those candidates who qualify the written test conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission.
The prescribed application form can be obtained from the office of the respective Regional Police Officers Offices upto 14- March-2011, after depositing application fee of Rs.400/- under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE
PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”.
The application form filled in by the candidates will be received in the same offices (concerned Regional Police Officers Offices) on or before 14 March, 2011 (Monday) by 03.00 pm by hand only.
NOTE: No application form sent through mail / E-mail / Fax etc. will be entertained. Photocopy and Down loaded application forms of PPSC will not be acceptable. Neither the application forms in the offices of Punjab Public Service Commission,
Lahore, Multan and will be issued nor will be received. Rawalpindi
The candidates will be admitted to the written examination / test provisionally at their own risk subject to their being found eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications of the candidates declared successful in the written examination / test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he / she has appeared in the written examination / test or qualified therein. To avoid frustration, the candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before appearing in the examination / test that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules, relating to the examination / test.
DATE, SYLLABUS AND TYPE OF WRITTEN TEST
The written test will be held on 27 March, 2011 (SUNDAY) at 08.00 a.m. at the centres indicated on the Roll No. Slip / Admission Letters. A MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) written test of two hours duration of intermediate standard including General Knowledge (comprising questions on Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, Basic Mathematics, Everyday Science) and knowledge of Urdu and English languages.
1. The candidates finally selected may be required to abide by any special condition(s) of service, prior to their appointment, as may be prescribed by the Government.
2. No relaxation in age, physical standards or educational qualifications is allowed, not withstanding any provision in the general purpose Application Form of the Commission.
3. Following documents must be attached with the application form:-
a) Attested copies of academic certificates/testimonials (Matric, F.A., F.Sc / Equivalent, Domicile, valid CNIC and Departmental Permission Certificate in case of Government Servant).
b) Original Treasury Receipt (Rs.400/-) proving deposit of money on or before the closing date.
c) Two latest photographs must be pasted on the application form.
