Special Pay:	SPECIAL PAY RS. 200/- P.M
Job Duties:	i) Interpretation of land resources data to prepare simplified and special purpose reports/papers related to use and development of agricultural land. ii) Assistance/ collaboration with other organizations in planning/ execution of agriculture research and development projects. iii) Carry out detailed/ semi-detailed soil surveys and preparation of land resource maps and reports. iv) Leading the soil survey parties in all phases of soil research including preliminary studies, field investigations, compiling and processing of soil survey data, soil classification, assessment of land capability.

Eligibilty:	Both male and female candidates are eligible
Any relaxation, whether in Minimum or Maximum age limits).	five (5) years general relaxation.

Qualification/Experience required:	Second Class or Grade C Masters Degree in Soil Survey/ Soil Science/ Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry/ Agronomy or Second Class or Grade C Masters Degree in Agriculture with Agricultural Chemistry/ Soil Science/ Agronomy as major subject.  EXPERIENCE: Three years post qualification experience in Soil Investigations, Modern Soil Surveys, Soil Classification, Land Capability Classification and Preparation of Soil Survey reports.
