SR. NO. 89.    (CASE NO.77-RC/2011) RECRUITMENT TO (01) ONE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NUTRITION & DIETETICS (BS-18) ON REGULAR BASIS IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a)       i)        MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC;

ii)            Postgraduate qualification in order of preference: D.Sc, Ph.D. FCPS, M.D, M.Phil, M.S / M.Sc (of two years duration) in the subject /speciality or in Community Medicine / Community Health / Public Health with major subject / dissertation in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC,  OR

FCPS (Medicine) / M.D with Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC.
                   If persons with the above qualifications are not available, then;
                   I)       M.Sc from a recognized University in Nutrition Dietetics.
                   II)      Candidate without a basic medical qualification shall be eligible for appointment provided they possess at least D.Sc or Ph.DDegree and provided a medical graduate with requisite postgraduate qualification is not available.
                   III)     If persons with the above qualifications are not available then:
                             M.Sc from a recognized University in Nutrition & Dietetics and Postgraduate qualification of M.Phil (Nutrition & Dietetics) orM.Phil (Bio-chemistry).

          Note:  Persons without Postgraduate qualifications or Minor Diploma holders are not eligible for appointment as        Assistant Professor and above.

b)       EXPERIENCE:
Five years teaching or practical experience before or after Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant subject in order of preference, as under:
                   1st Preference: Teaching experience.
                   2nd Preference: Practical experience after postgraduate qualifications.
                   3rd Preference: Practical experience before post graduation.

c)       RESEARCH
Credit should be given to the original research work published in a standard medical journal, i.e. The Journals as listed in IndexMedicus or Excerpta Medica. The term also includes the journals of Pakistan Medical Research Council, Armed Forces Medical Journal,journal of Pakistan Medical Association (Central). Pakistan Journal of Health and Pakistan Heart Journal etc.

PAY:            BS-18
AGE:            23 to 58 years on 11-07-2011.
ELIGIBILITY: Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district  of  the Province of Punjab.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Candidates are required to produce attested photocopies of the following documents along with the application and in original documents thereof at the time of interview:
i)        Matriculation Certificate, showing date of birth and in case of ‘O’ Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad and date of birth given in school leaving certificate.
ii)       Intermediate Certificate / ‘A’ level along with equivalent qualification.
iii)       Degree and detailed marks of MBBS (1st to final profs.) duly issued by Controller of exam showing total / obtained marks and percentages. In case detailed marks are not produced then minimum passing marks will be considered.
iv)      Degree of post graduate qualification recognized by PMDC.
v)       Valid P.M.D.C registration certificate showing all medical degrees therein.
vi)      Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab.
vii)      In case of Government Servants, the Departmental Permission Certificate duly signed / stamped by the Department of Health, Government of the Punjab.
viii)     Experience Certificate duly signed by Head of institution and in case if a candidate is serving on Current Charge basis or Contract basis or Acting charge basis or Adhoc basis the experience certificate must be issued by the Department of Health, Government of the Punjab.
ix       Foreign qualification and experience must be recognized by PMDC.
x)       Copy of valid C.N.I.C.
xi)      Disability certificate duly issued by the competent authority of Social Welfare Department, if applicable.

SR. NO. 90.    (CASE NO.08-RE/2011) RECRUITMENT TO (02) TWO POSTS OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (TECHNICAL) ON FIVE YEARS CONTRACT BASIS IN ANTI-CORRUPTION, ESTABLISHMENT, PUNJAB.

QUALIFICATION:    Degree in Engineering (Civil) from a recognized University and registered as “Professional Engineer” with the Pakistan Engineering Council.

PAY:   BS-17+ 40% Special Allowance against the basic pay.
AGE:            25 to 38  + 05 years general age relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006 = 43  years on 11-07-2011.
ELIGIBILITY:         Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab.
PLACE OF POSTING:  Anywhere in the Province of Punjab.

            2.         In case large number of applications are received for post(s), short-listing of the eligible candidates will be done in accordance with the policy of PPSC.

3.         Fax applications from in-country candidates, will not be accepted.

4.         Down loaded application forms from our website will also be acceptable.

            5.         “N.I.C valid on the closing date for receipt of applications will be accepted. However in case of expiry of NIC depositing receipt of NADRA for new NIC will be accepted at the time of interview”.

            6.         Note:  In case of change/deletion/addition in any column of the prescribed application form, the candidate would be liable to the rejection of his candidature.

7.         The number of posts may be increased or decreased at any stage.

8.         IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates will be admitted to the written examination / test provisionally at their own risk subject to their being found eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications of the candidates declared successful in the written examination / test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she has appeared in the written examination / test or qualified therein.
